Yeah NZ only play two more Tests before Conway is eligible. Nicholls will surely get to play those - and even though I've never been a big fan I do think he's earned that bit of a rope - but if he doesn't make any real runs in them I can see Conway coming in immediately.

Umesh reiterating the great improvements in his bowling. No longer consider him a liability of any kind and an able replacement for any of the first choice pacers.

Happy to eat crow on this one. Guy has bowled much better than I ever thought he could. Seems to have traded in some of his pace for bit more consistency. Not the worst thing as long as he can still summon a really quick spell when in.

Also, seems like one section of the ground have taken it upon themselves to sledge Kohli back into form. Just when I thought NZ had cracked the code. Be all friendly and chummy and praise him to the moon, watch him get out for single digits.
