I definitely get that vibe but tbh their batting for 3 straight T20s was fairly average

This isn’t a ‘NZ boundaries so small’ whinge (hate them) but Hamilton is hardly any bigger than Eden Park but it rarely gets mentioned? Straight boundaries at both ends must be barely at the required minimum

I watched the game for 10 minutes when Kohli and Iyer had just arrived. The ball was seaming quite a bit. Is this score well beyond par?

Looks flat as **** now. It's probably beyond par, and definitely well above given where we were when Kohli went, but not quite in unreachable territory on NZ grounds.
