My sg cricket whatsapp group has stopped providing updates on his progress too. hope he hits a couple more sixes to end his somewhat disappointing campaign.

His team didn't make the finals. He actually played their final game of the season.

Hopefully it bodes well for his place in the first XI for Game 1 next season.

And from memory the "has to play in the regular season" rule only applies to overseas players. Liam O'Connor played his only game of BBL07 in the grand final after Khan had to fly out for national duties

After this season, particularly with the Scorchers, I think this needs a revise anyway

I think it actually just applies to late signings/callups. O'Connor had been part of the squad for most of the season even though he didn't play.
