Sodhi looked good last game, and these are great signs too. Good wicket. Great catch by Seifert too. Pressure from Kuggs last over as well. Nice to watch.

Good catch by Seifert. Sodhi getting a lot of drift tonight.

Is it just me or do Seifert's wk gloves somehow look less webby than other gloves? It might just be that his hands are usually made of iron, but he doesn't seem to pouch the ball in the webbing like Watling et al.

yeah nah. Who on earth is this female commentator on atm, havent watched much cricket on TV this summer. Has legit just come on and said Ish is bowling beautifully and spinning the ball hard, after Doull and Styris (not exactly a benchmark of any sort lol) just said he's not even using his leg spinner. Not trying ot be a negative nancy but Ish has peaked and Ive seen not much improvement if any at all. He's content bowling 4 inaccurate overs with batsman tryna go and snag some boundary wickets, which to be fair is the modus operandi for most spinners in LOI these days, but he doesnt even seem to possess any sort of accuracy, even those "sliders" were bad line. NZ so caught up with "variations" and don't possess a bowler in the whole country with some sort of high spin skillset, Ajaz being the closest, with his highest thing being accuracy.

He's bowled to his plan and has did well. It was a great tactic to toss it up wide outside offstump in one of the previous games. Got a wicket when someone went for a lofted hit down the ground in one of the previous games.

He can't land the ball lol that's not a plan.
I'm being a slightly miserable git obviously ha, but the frustrating thing is that he's VERY inconsistent EVEN in the short form.

Decent work from the bowlers, but India's attack plus NZ finding ways to stuff things up will make this pretty interesting.

yeah we'll find a way to ruin this

if guppys injured then next few games is an opportunity to have a look at someone new. will sigh if they pull a random anaru kitchen style selection.

lol at the commentators being so salty over streakers. love watching a streaker with a good step evade security. there are worse things to watch, like the recent 3 tests in australia.

Tactical missed run-out there. Munro just beyond a joke now, we really need to try someone else.

We know he can hit the occasional six though, it's all the plays and misses in between, and the pressure that puts on the guy at the other end.

they say guys with great eye but minimal technique fade earlier, but he seems to have less shots these days too. tries to either cut or huck everything onside.

i stand by my 'shouldn't have retired from fc' comments.

There's the best batsman in the lineup gone, though in his current state was probably not likely to have a great impact today.

Tough ask for this lineup from here, though Seifert finally gets a chance up the order.
