You're acting as if Kane and the selectors are going to drop Munro.Weird that Hesson should be dropped because his domestic form has also been poor, but then says Kuggeleijn should come in.
Would love for Seiffert to get another chance opening, he was really good there last season. Also want to see Bennett get a few more chances, not easy to come into the international side vs India at Eden Park. Drew a false shot at one stage that got edged for six, which was unfortunately a turning point.
Tickner's average is close to 50 and his ER is 10 after 5 games.not one of the great games
tickner and bennett should get more chances. they weren't even bad. southee and sodhi have been stinking up our white ball squads for years and keep getting picked. southee put in a good shift today when it didn't matter, which will probably see him getting picked in this format until he's 37.
Exactly the same as Kuggeleijn who people want him replaced with ...Tickner's average is close to 50 and his ER is 10...
Kuggeleijn offers something with the bat and from what I've seen has pace.Exactly the same as Kuggeleijn who people want him replaced with ...
Tbf Ish could be useful in tying batsmen down, the big boundaries will definitely help him.5 games is samplesizelol, and bennetts comeback is even less games. both bowlers have the golden combination of domestic results and obvious talent. they're both tall, strong and hit the deck hard at decent pace.
but no doubt they will be dropped and we will continue to pick a leg spinner who can barely bowl on the pitch and a spearhead who trundles in at 125 clicks along the wicket without philander-esque accuracy.
So do stats matter, or not? You're the one that quoted them. Tickner's domestic record is miles ahead of Kuggeleijn's.Kuggeleijn offers something with the bat and from what I've seen has pace.
kuggles is fast and when he puts it together he's a pretty good prospect, but frustratingly he's only offering the consistency in pace of shannon gabriel and the awkward truth that 'nz only picks nice guys' is a load of rubbish.*Kuggeleijn offers something with the bat and from what I've seen has pace.
And how has that translated to the international level? So do stats matter, or not? You're the one that quoted them. Tickner's domestic record is miles ahead of Kuggeleijn's.
like i know replying to you is pissing into the wind but you're sounding like the commentators lsd trip the other night when ish melted and bowled a pile of wides.Tbf Ish could be useful in tying batsmen down, the big boundaries will definitely help him.
Bennett outside one ball has not impressed me whatsoever, his back of length on leg stump bowling is not going to pick up wickets. Maybe he bowled this way because of the boundary dimensions but it's all he really did consistently.
Don't get me wrong, I think he's been poor in these 2 games. I don't think he should have played the first game, still think he can see him useful in the middle overs in Aus. He's not a genuine wicket taking option but when batsmen go after him he can take wickets with the bigger boundaries giving him more protection.like i know replying to you is pissing into the wind but you're sounding like the commentators lsd trip the other night when ish melted and bowled a pile of wides.
he's a spud in international cricket. franchise player only.
