International Coach
been liking wes agar’s work lately, gone from having dom michael-like t20 stats to being a solid wicket taker. he’s a huge boy too, makes ashton look like a little bitch and doesn’t have the male pattern baldness as of yet either

the hurricanes are just starting to find form, now that milenko and jewell are out of the side.

they are still a very good chance to sneak into 5th spot after today's results, if they do, beware.

Um, at what point did Renegades sign Nathan McSweeney?

And the bigger question.

Why?
After stephen suggested they were Queensland Second XI for having all of two Queenslanders in their lineup, they figured they'd do him a solid and make it less of a ridiculous statement.

True that.

Binga will still say he is having a great tournament the next time he comms a Sixers game.

Lee will also say to bring in an extra slip.

ab keeping helps the heat a fair bit
oh i thought so. all that's happened is that Peirson has been replaced with Prestwidge. I don't get it. They already had 5 bowlers + Renshaw. I guess they wanted another seam bowler...? It's not a massive issue because the issue is the batting, but still.

I think Cutting has actually been better than usual, I just would have got Lalor back in there

Keep Pierson, play Prestwidge, drop Cutting. That's probably the way I would have gone
Keep the side they named but don't let Cutting bowl IMO. Peirson's been batting with a needle all tournament and this is the third season on the bounce he's been outbatted by Cutting. Cutting's bowling is completely putrid most of the time but I'd back him as a T20 bat over Peirson for sure.

Yeah I see your point, don't like AB keeping but it isn't exactly like Pierson has made a good case to be retained

Cutting's eco rate is close to 8, which I suspect is the lowest it's been for a few seasons, and he's still getting wickets. I really don't think he's been too much of a problem with the ball. The problem is, a Pattinson/Cutting/Laughlin seam attack is crying out for a combined 10 overs for 100 runs

they've ended up believing they should play 2 spinners but also play 4 seamers

Pierson being dumped is a bit who cares, but I would have probably picked a batsman to replace him with

run a ball 22 form Cutting was not what I expected, but I didn't expect much anyway and it was a waste of time. they should have stuck with Lynn, or pushed Labuschagne/AB to the top, or picked Byrant again.

Labuschagne averages 6 and strikes at 77 in t20s
played 8 t20's. Batted at 6 in 5 of them in, so I'm basically discounting those. Failed in the other 3 T20's batting a combo of 3, 4 & 5, but I would back him to perform. and certainly more than Cutting opening.
