But calling someone a Fat So and So is kindergarden levelI am sure if the stump mic picked up Philander dishing out verbals to a batsman when he beats his outside edge for a 3rd time in an over he is using the same language. A bit of swearing is ok, bit naughty but not overstepping the mark. If you start on other stuff like the Aussies did to Anderson and Moeen Ali then that is a different ball game. I can't wait for the next test when Rabada and Nortje will be greeting Buttler with some short pitched fast bowling as revenge. Spices up the game.
That part was pathetic and makes Buttler look ridiculous. But calling someone a Fat So and So is kindergarden level
Well one was to his face hahaI don't really approve of sledging in general.
I have noticed a difference between the reaction here to Buttler calling Philander fat, and ***** and I doing it on most episodes of the podcast
It was more the 8 fbombs in twenty seconds. Basically verbal abuse buuut as someone said Philander probably gives it out as a bowler and if that's true then I guess I view it differentlyI mean, he called philander fat. Big ****ing deal? Calls for a fine are just not grounded in reality.
Calling someone a slow fatass makes a bit more sense in this context tbfPhilander is known to be a tool on the field, so when I first saw it I suspected he'd dished some crap out as well. Apparently he pissed him off just by not getting out of the way when a throw was coming in though, which makes it a bit OTT unless there's more to the story.
Fining him for it would be even more OTT though. "Hit to reputation" is about as far as this should go IMO.
What, that people noticed when Jos did it?I don't really approve of sledging in general.
