This is like the Hadlee days all over again at the moment, except it's Australia with the world number 1 at one end and the club bowler at the other.

I reckon these two are rapidly consolidating. Losing a bowler really takes the sting out, and we have no Lord Colin.

Going to be hard for NZ to play out the two best new pink ball bowlers in the world and Cummins.

I'm now off the Raval bus.

He has my permission to be out of form, but fight man. Block and leave. This summer is the worst response by an opener to being out of form I can currently recall.

Fly someone else over for the Victoria match.
Was hoping his efforts at the bowling crease might help his confidence, but now really needs a decent outing in the second innings for this to stop being a major concern.

Maybe someone like Brownlie could be summoned over as a stop-gap arrangement?

By the way, if someone can bowl 130 with a run and action like this, what was the excuse of people with fifty-eight metre long runups who couldn't?
Agreed, I always wondered how part time bowlers could just turn up roll their arm and bowl at 130. Doesn't seem like something any random person can/should be able to do. Maybe it has to do with how difficult I found it to bowl fast. :D Having said that he has made the ball talk.

Oo wonder why they didn't review that. Didn't look like kane himself thought he hit it.
