Rankings for the series

Watling 10 - a flawless series from the WPWB.
Wagner 9 - god I love this man.
CdG 8 - Handy wickets and some thumping boundaries, what more can you say.
Santner 7 - very handy efforts even if I don't think he should be in the team.
Williamson 7 - solid if unspectacular, got a slice of bad luck at Tauranga and was repaid in full today.
Taylor 7 - still looks reliant on flat pitches or cack bowling to make big runs, but in this series he got to enjoy both.
Latham 7 - an excellent hundred to help set up this match for NZ, but otherwise he's been a tad loose.
Mitchell 7 - did his job as the dollar store dG.
Southee 6 - still don't like the pace he's bowling at, but he revived our hopes at Tauranga with some great channel bowling.
Nicholls 5 - a solid grafting knock at Tauranga to begin the fight back, but failed to capitalise.
Henry 4 - bowled some nice lines, and had a crucial chance put down, but he really shouldn't have been playing.
Raval 1 - Oof.
I do not see how Raval gets a 1. 0 is better here.

A lucky one, but it there's another century. Hopefully there are more to come in Australia. Kane now averaging more than Miandad with Lara and Tendulkar the next ones ahead of him.

Nice going Ross. I think he said in an interview at one point or another that at the beginning of his career he set himself the goal of scoring 20 test hundreds. One to go.

Agree with most of these, though Wagner needed to bowl more bouncers to get a 9 imo.

Starting to think that both Wagner and Ferguson should play in Perth too - the days of swing being decisive in pink ball tests may already be behind us and otherwise it'll be flaaaaaat.

Not convinced Boult will be 100% fit so Southee, Ferguson, Wagner for the first test.

He was in a Dunedin cafe a few years back just after that 290 and I was very tempted to strike up a conversation with him just to see what his retirement targets were. I was hoping he'd get 25.

Get to how tall he was already

On paper you could make an argument that this is Ross's first test ton against "tough" opposition since Perth 2015....ironic given the conditions.
