He's (just short of) 28 so he still has few years. Depends on how alternatives perform and how he goes domestically imo. That said could go in the 'not likely to succeed' basket regardless, you can only take so many failures.Poor game from Henry and thats probably it for his test career right?
Nah, Tommy Latham in the penultimate over of the day. After Raval gets out for 15, of course.
How many Test matches can you average 45+ in as a pace bowler in NZ though? We aren't Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. He's (just short of) 28 so he still has few years. A back stopper is a fair description I would think, but at least he looks like a reasonably competent onePope's that good behind the stumps? Not a back-stopper after all
I dunno. He can be your Mitchell Marsh. How many Test matches can you average 45+ in as a pace bowler in NZ though? We aren't Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.
Depends if you think someone like Jamieson or Tickner overtakes him as fifth best seamer in the country. I think Henry has something to offer and is currently still ahead of those two (though may or may not be in 1-2 years). It's conditions-dependent but he can be effective within certain limitations.Poor game from Henry and thats probably it for his test career right?
He's a cricketing trojan horseHang on, what’s the deal with this Crawley kid? He only averages 31 in first class cricket....
Would get him into the attack fairly soon at this rate, not that Archer’s bowled badly, just hasn’t threatened, yet.Interesting selections from England.
I like Woakes and think he'll do well here.
Sounds like conditions should suit him. Lets hope Root gives him a bowl when the ball is still reasonably new.Interesting selections from England.

You picked it.Broad looking the most threatening early on for England, Archer not got his pace up and relatively straight up and down, Broad at least getting the odd one to go off the seam.
Bennett is a person that exists.Depends if you think someone like Jamieson or Tickner overtakes him as fifth best seamer in the country. Just definitely not fourth best seamer in the country though.
