I reckon he doesn't have full control over his elbow hyperextension hence the random speeds between balls but I wonder if he runs in a little harder or something at times to produce those fast spells. He seems a little temperamental almost. Are Archer’s completely random speeds a deliberate tactic?
How many times is CDG gonna prove haters wrong. Seems to be a common thingNicholls and Watling showed the application we expected of them but we really needed both of them to see off the second new ball. England strong favourites to knock over De Grandhomme and the rest - our tail isn't particularly robust.
I don't know why they haven't taken it yet - maybe hoping for De Grandhomme to do something silly against the spinner, but he's just as likely to be unable to handle the new ball.
I do imagine it would make it hard for the batsmen, especially when he can go 20kmph above everyone else's average speed in the match.I reckon he doesn't have full control over his elbow hyperextension hence the random speeds between balls but I wonder if he runs in a little harder or something at times to produce those fast spells. Lovely that he bats ODI in Test matches and manages to be better in the longer format. Also bats above 3 players who are better batsmen than him in T20Is. Weird, to say the least.Who can hate CdG?
Very similar to Shakib's figures.Colin averaging 42 with the bat and 30 with the ball. Move over Ben Stokes.
Yes, and it's beautiful. It's like watching a guy you hated in school get into a boating accident. Is Broad actually bowling the military medium speeds listed on the cricinfo commentary?
