Well I guess that's why he's not batting top 4.
He's class though. If they'd sent him in at 3, which they should have, as he's their best batsman by a mile, they'd probably not have let the pressure build with so many dot balls and then a cluster of wickets. Openers had laid a decent foundation.

Yeah it's what I'd do, but you can see the logic in not doing so with his record. A kind of "you have to earn it" sort of mentality.

Burns' catching has been good today. Thought his first one was excellent. Diving forward in slips blows hard.

Consider this, Babar Azam is most known for bashing the elderly bowler Dale Steyn around.

There's scarce evidence for him being a class test batsman beyond bashing up the arthritic granddad.

I know only cricket involving Australia counts so I can't be expected to know wtf has been going on, but where's Safraz? The bloke is ****ing quality.

Pakistaning in full flow. Saw this coming from a mile. Never hype a young bat to this extent. Expect the same thing to happen in reverse when Pakistan bowl. The openers will fall only for Pakistan to get Smith'd into oblivion.

Cummins, so careless. Did that in the Ashes (or something like it) too. Just no need.
