Shield Round 4
NSW have cleared out on top of the ladder with another win, however when the international series start things may change. The Bananabenders are the only other team with two wins, demolishing the Vics in their second innings. The Shield holders are winless, bottom of the table, the batting in disarray and the bowling has lost the dominance of past seasons. The Sandgropers fell to the Australian test bowling attack while the Croweaters and Tassie battled out a runchase for a draw SA still to win a game.
Star of the round was with Alex Doolan 170no and 116.
Weatherald made 198 and an opening stand of 293 with Hunt who also had a good game with 132 and 69.
