CWPL Round 3 Matches

FFS. Two good performances where I could've (and probably should've) won against decent opposition, then get flogged by a relatively poorer one. Just all round yikes.

It's a pretty short season so losing your first three straight doesn't really bode well for your finals chances, even if you've played some of the better teams. If you lose more than five games all season I think you'd probably struggle to make the top five and you've used up three losses already without having yet played Athlai or Daemon.

The team you lost to last round just got beaten by an innings too, albeit against the Avengers and without a couple of key players.
EDIT: Actually it was ten wickets, but still.

Crisis meeting needed IMO.

Some fair performances there from Howe's players in particular. Bennett celebrated being named to play in the top grade next round with a fiery spell too.

Making him keep probably isn't helping his batting, but there's no-one else in the reserves of the three squads who can keep apart from Mahmudullah who is also theoretically your batting depth. I might give him the gloves next time.

Munro slammed a ton in the Round 2 game, I think you missed it. He's trolled a few wickets too. Probably the most viable backup player you've got at the moment. Might try Edwards instead of Ferguson next game; Fidel is always fun with his 10-0-60-2 spells.
