Yeah it's the strangest bit. Might have something planned for their first match/entrance?
Maybe one of them is carrying an injury or something (not checked to see if they have been in any dark matches though, so not sure about this).

Otherwise seems very strange call. I mean they have a lot of talent to get on TV each week, but Jurassic Express are surely the biggest breakout stars (or in the argument at least) from any of the shows they have done so far (e.g. All In etc.), so it's very strange that they have not managed to fit them in to either of the first two weeks.

Fury is a big name, and so far as getting mainstream exposure for the WWE brand it's a big win.

However, I suspect the chances of Strowman coming out of this looking good are slim.

Whatever it is they put together (i.e. whether it's some sort of heavily gimmicked match, or a brawl type-angle) I would be amazed if Fury is prepared to do the job. With this being the case, it's hard to see how Strowman can emerge from this without, to some extent anyway, looking like a loser/weak.

The E would obviously try and spin this as a "no shame in going down fighting to one of the best fighters in the world" sort of thing, but even so, it would just be another big match/angle for Strowman that he will emerge from as a loser.

I suppose they could always go for a "the two enemies unite and become friends to take on some dastardly heels" type thing (e.g. the pair of them beating the hell out of the returning Elias, nfi if he's even fit to go though tbh) but that would be pretty lame.
Agreed it would be lame but I'd still take that over giving Strowman another unnecessary loss.

tbh I don't think it really matters at this point in a sense, They missed the boat with Strowman about two years ago and he's never been teh same since

Welly yeah, it's Fury vs Strowman in Saudi Arabia. Can't see it going well for Braun.

Edit: I'd delete that that typo, but "welly" is too good a word.

If anyone has been following,

Is AEW so far better than the usual WWE weekly and PPVs?

Also, is the weekly a full fledged 'entertainment show' like MNR/SD or does it have a very in-ring focus like NXT? Would prefer the former if they made it well tbh.

It's NXT mixed with WCW style main events so far.

Does it have a TV deal in India? I'd be down to give this a go.

Yeah, I've never heard anything about FITE TV being untoward or anything. I'd be surprised if you had problems with it.

Lol @ Rollins burning the fun house down just to be showered in boos

Pretty ****ing funny
Man I saw a screenshot of Rollins in the funhouse and thought he might have "let him in" as a desperate move to show the Fiend's dominance.

That would have been bad enough; but burning down the funhouse? WTF.

It's almost like WWE didn't learn that it's a bad idea to have Seth > Fiend r/n.

Side note - I'm assuming Bray Wyatt being on SmackDown isn't going to stop the Fiend from appearing on Raw?

Because there has seemed to be the most obvious of allusions online that Liv Morgan was going to join Bray Wyatt, and now Seth is continuing to feud with Bray despite them being on opposite brands.

Well Fiend v Seth is booked in for Crown Jewell, which looks like another job for the fiend, unless they're going to put both major titles on Smackdown.

Oh I missed that. FML this is bad on so many levels.

I'm also surprised considering the tattoo issues last time in Jedda that they're willing to allow an "actual demon" onto the show..

If the intention for RAW was to turn Seth heel then I guess it kind of makes sense.

Still bad but I could understand the logic.

If he's meant to be the face though, this is a hilariously bad misfire. Literally burning the best thing they have going to the ground
