Unless he debuted at age 3, I suspect he was.Not sure Bertus was even born when Burgey played cricket
Absolutely. Is this an actual opinion he had?
Like, for a home Ashes, 100%. Him and a bunch of other blokes, actually.
Neser was a perfectly good pick for England though. Would've outSiddled Siddle in the all the innings Siddle Siddled in.
Neser would've been gun with it too though. Like I think I'm probably the second biggest legit Abbott fan on the forum at this point and he definitely would've been a better pick than Siddle, but Neser was the specialist "pommy bowling allrounder in Aussie body". A must.Absolutely.
He tore it up last summer with the Dukes ball int eh back half of the Shield. Would have had him in a heartbeat. Didn't matter though. Australia won* anyway.
*the England way - hit more boundaries in a drawn series.
Where roughly do you think those they would sit in the overall pecking order?Neser would've been gun with it too though. Good stuff*Burgey
Nah he's the first grade skipper of the club my young bloke plays for and he's coached him for about five years as well. have come to know him from basically sitting watching him coaching Burgeinho since he was 12 or so. Just stoked for him because he's worked so ****ing hard, and hasn't been a chosen foetus from day one who's got a rails run. He's just literally put down thousands of runs and they couldn't ignoer him any more. Won the O'Reilly medal last year too.
Oh man this rain is set. Maybe just maybe some cricket after tea if we get a few sri lankan groundsman.is it raining
He isn't showing any inclination to get on with it, but I don't mind that. Pitch still pretty docile, just looking to wear down the attack has its valueTrav Head is a curious cat. I dont really expect to see a 47* from 171 balls but I like it, especially if he ends up getting a 100.
Which would have been weaker with Head in thereIt really wouldn't.
We had a top 6 last Test with Harris, Marsh and Wade in it.
