Revised batting order after looking up the stats:

Sutcliffe
Hanif
Compton
Mead
Mankad
-
Tallon
Briggs
Turner
McDonald
Barnes

Probably picked Hanif too early out of nationalistic fervour but eh, could've been worse.

You've managed to steal about 4 or 5 picks I had in mind right before my turn.

How about you tell me the batsman you have in mind for you final pick

I have three in mind but I'm not sure any of them are quite as strong as I'd like.

The cupboard is pretty bare for those early decades at this point. I see you've picked from 30s-10s like me.

Great team. I think Statham may be a class above the other r11 picks, certainly is so far.

Yeah in these kind of advanced strategy drafts I always value maybe having one less ATG so I don't have 1-2 passengers at the end (or at least very unknown players). Not sure it results in more votes but it feels better!

Ted Peate (1900s)

1. Jack Hobbs
2. Tom Hayward
3. Clem Hill
4. Dudley Nourse
5. Martin Crowe*
6. Keith Miller (2)
7. Jack Gregory (3)
8. Dick Lilley+
9. Ray Lindwall (1)
10. Joey Palmer (4)
11. Ted Peate (5)

Worry that I bungled the bowling slightly, but a very deep batting lineup with quality all-rounders and world-class bats make up for it.

No passengers but only 1 truly ATG middle order batsman. A bowling attack that'd make an old timer orgasm though.
