Parnell is a cheat. Wasn't really supporting anyone until that delaying tactic by Parnell on the penultimate ball. Then more of it before the last ball. What a display by Harmer to take 18 off 7, clutch knock. Parnell ought to get banned for that. What a dick.

It's a T20 game not a marathon! Harmer had to have a word with the umpire. Parnell was taking the piss. Dude bowled trash at the end. Psyched himself out.

Somerset sailing close to the wind here again with this wicket. Turning square in the first session. Up and down bounce even with only medium pacers. Going to make for some compelling cricket though.

Yeah it looks absolutely diabolical. The tactic to Harmer has to be playing back (much like playing Lyon), but the variable bounce makes it very difficult

Essex well and truly let them off. Should never have stopped trying to get RvdM out. IIRC he nicked one straight to where first alip would have been in the 30s.

Wouldn't expect much more play today.

Everything Harmer touches turns to gold at the moment. Best T20 figures ever on Finals day and leads them to the trophy and now just picked up his 10th 5-wicket haul of the season in The County Championship. Now for the 2nd title in 3 seasons.

What a bloke. What a cricketer.

With Durham Glamorgan being rained off today, Gloucestershire and Northants will be joining Lancashire in division 1 next year. :)

Cricket is the ****ing worst.

Bright blue sky, sunshine, stumps in and pitch being rolled. But because there was a brief shower when the umpires did their last inspection, no chance of anything for another 90 minutes.

Marcus Trescothick is retiring today. Not sure if he'll get to bat unless the weather improves enough for Essex to be bowled out cheaply.
