5th Test at The Oval, London

Would've been a big mental effort to regroup after Headingley so after they reached their main target, perhaps understandable they've mentally slackened off.
It feels like a bit of a mountain to climb by winning the series, especially given the England side haven't let up. I'd have taken 2-2 at the start of the series but it feels nowhere near as good as say 3-1 (even 2-1 - obviously this Test is far from over given it's literally not even lunch on Day 1 yet)

Is there any chance of Siddle pitching the ball up ffs? He’s been ****ing awful.

Such a typically Victorian performance. Harris playing too. We’re screwed
Even at his peak Siddle was only ever any good when he pitched it up.

This has been woeful from the guy who has got as many tests as Starc and Pattinson combined.
I was telling my wife about the two Victorians rule when Harris misfielded. She thought I was kidding...
Indeed

And now that from Paine. Worst session of the series for us

30 minutes of the Sky comms drooling over Root's mindset and technique and Cummins should have got him in consecutive overs.

Norwood's on Fire
When we win this match we can rightly feel aggrieved that the rain at Lord's robbed us of a 3-2 victory
