I think he gets talked into it too easily by his bowlers tbh rather than exercising his own judgment.

Which I guess is bad judgment itself in a way

Cummins seems to have forgotten how to bowl a yorker. Needs to take a leaf from the Mitchell Johnson book of bowling to Broad.
