Talking of Labuschagne having 4 fifties in a row, Steve Smith now has 7 50+ scores in a row vs England.

239, 76, 102*, 83, 144, 142, 92
That really can't be right. He got like four single digit scores in a row between Lord's and Oval in 2015

This is ****. Only 118-2 yet somehow feels like the wheels have come off. Where's the intensity? Where's the pressure?

Labuschagne has excelled in this bowlers’ series because he’s the only batsman apart from Smith who plays the ball right under his snout instead of out in front. Text book, old school batting.

Would England have bowled any worse or been flatter if they'd lost at Headingley? This is another reminder that momentum from test to test isn't really a thing. It's been 10 days, and now it's cold, wet and windy, and two quality batsmen are set.

Yeah idk what everyone was doing getting excited earlier today about him breaking the beastly 139.5km/h mark. 145+, then we'll talk.
As far as I've seen no one has really been getting excited with his speeds today. It's been a constant case of what's wrong with him, why isn't he bowling faster?

If it is a thing it lasts about a session max

Everyone briefly got very excited that he suddenly bowled slightly faster at Smith

This angry-at-batsmen-being-distracted-in-line-of-sight Stuart Broad is the same bloke who held up play for ten minutes in Adelaide until a reflective piece of metal on a sight screen was covered up, only to get bowled around his legs first rock.

Had to play a match without bails a few weeks ago because of how windy it was. Didn't imagine I'd see it in a test match soon after.
