One might argue that they needed someone who will run in all day.

Reckon they'll get Starc in for Pattinson, not that I'd necessarily agree with that. He did have a poor spell today, and hasn't taken the wickets you'd want, but I still think this is Australia's best line up. One freak innings shouldn't change that.

I remember when Stokes was 2 off 60 or something, just lowkey admiring his grit, never imagining that he will do anything of this sort mind you, but just the fact that for me he played the situation perfectly. I think England played the perfect game the last 10 - 20 overs yesterday just blunting the attack, and should have had the same approach today as well until at least until the new ball was 15 overs old. People always say "But muh runs!", the runs will roll on their own after the tents have been pitched.

It is very easy to say it in theory, however to really have that clarity of mind to actually do it is a gift.

It was a ridiculous review because it obviously pitched outside leg but at the same time you can kind of understand it in the circumstance
