2nd Test, Lord's, London

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Smith get to 50. England still in the game. Post lunch Archer bowled one of the fastest spells anyone's seen, hit Smith's arm and then hit hill near where Hughes was hit. Smith goes off. Another wicket falls. Smith comes out loopy. 3 fours take him to 92. Gem from Woakes and he is plumb in front. Looked a bit rattled. Tail scrapes to 250. Roy continues to be useless, pops one back to Cummins. Root gets a peach first up. 2 in 2. A few catches are dropped then Siddle takes 2. Lyon has looked dangerous too.
Thanks

"Why are we paying the umpires good money to be there if teams have to use DRS to have lbws given?" Ever umpired in an international match, Alex? It's a difficult job, people make mistakes... and you can ask for a review if you think the umpire has made one
gonna make a ***** joke, someone ****ing hold me back i'm gonna do it

Would Aus have trouble chasing 200? Probably not with Smith batting tbh.
Not that England are remotely likely to set 200. It really is our worst batting line-up in 40 years. Aus will probably win this with time to spare despite a day and half being lost to rain.

Paine needs to up his reviewing game, seriously. How can a keeper not know that it wasn't worth a review? Think Smith would have insisted on it had he been out there.

If we bat a session tomorrow the lead will be around 200. That will be a difficult chase.

Just a few more needed - Archer is going to do an 8-43 tomorrow

Would back Australia if they were chasing around, let's say, 180 in 65 overs. Even without the Smith factor. Khawaja, Head and Wade have all looked alright at different points in this series. One of them should be able to stand up.
