Surprised everyone missed it. Comms said he's carrying a knee injury and they're trying to manage it by giving him a lighter workload
He's had it for a long time. Like over a year. I doubt the clutch moment of an Ashes test when Anderson is already injured is gonna be the time when they prioritise workload management.

Anderson's been doing it or years, though not to this extent. Now there's a bit of reverse you won't see them doing it.
