1st Test, Edgbaston, Birmingham

halba

International Debutant
I'd wait til England have their second innings before declaring which bowlers will be dropped.

Not surprising that since Patto didn't take 5-30 his selection has been deemed a failure by fair-weather fans. Sad
yep. tho it looks as tho aussies will go back to what won them the last ashes down under(and thats hazlewood and starc and cummins)

Theres a possibility of Mitch marsh as well as an extra seamer(like stokes for england) will prove useful. Marsh in good form with the ball - was excellent in the intra squad match. Helps to jag a wicket or two extra, all counts. He's still only 27 years old, not old at all. Stats has been poor career wise is the main risk. Labuschagne adds value with the bat, and his spin is OK.

A lot dependent on the Lord’s pitch.
