“Clear evidence” to overturn needed.I think it was the right call tbh. It was touch and go either way and would have been a very big call to bring Head back and call it a no-ball.

Side on camera viewI missed the end of it, what was said that made Gower say 'that makes it clear then'
Well, what he does in his own time is a matter for him, mate.He will stand and bang
His reluctance to have their boffins dig through and point out how many no ball wickets have been let sail through on Sky the past few years.I missed the end of it, what was said that made Gower say 'that makes it clear then'
Normal legspin, you could say.Denly has looked dangerous at times but he's actually been pretty good for us here. too many loose balls.

Oh live definitely, but they did send it upstairs to check for front and back foot no balls.Even if it is a no ball I think it's actually kind of unreasonable to expect umpires to be able to spot it reliably at all
It's perfectly fine, especially if you understand how it worked with the back foot rule. No need to artificially make the crease wider, when it's already been widened once. It's a stupid law anyway. Should be the same as the front foot rule. It's too hard for an umpire to see with the bowler's body in the way.
You're a strange man. That catch off Stokes was very very good and he's saved dozens of byes because of how wide Stokes bowls.Would three fence palings be a better keeper than Barstool? Discuss.
