Tim Paine was right about one thing. Edgbaston is not intimidating.its simply an ugly ground with annoying fans. Very subpar chants such as championes....borrowing a Spanish footy chant. Weak

Any conditions can be exploited by bowlers if they adjust their plans. Aus bowlers seem to not have a clue at the moment

The big question is why doesn't Paine do something, get them bowl differently? How can you be so passive. The only thing he does is move fielders to stop wherever the ball just went.

Why is Lyon still on too? He's bowled very poorly to these two. Way too straight to Broad.

you can only skipper as well as the bowlers bowl to the plan, and aus have been a bit loose all innings

Marnus I think might have potential in this regard. Other than that.......I suppose plenty of our bowlers can bat, but still.

I wouldn't say they've been that loose, just consistently bowling the wrong thing. That's on the captain.
