Also the hitting the stumps but not dislodging the bail thing might be considered lucky.
As I said, very vindictive.Annoying as **** crowd, it must be said.
I hate this logic so much.Bad decision but not like you didn't have a review to use. Like us not going for Warner yesterday it was our fault.
And for all my snark I think all of the decisions have been semi-defendable. First one didn't look all that great of a shout live, second one the noise was a wooden one and I can believe why the umpire would think that was the bat. That one was worse, but at least it wasn't a massive edge like the Siddle one.Which is still a slower pace than yesterday at this same stage. I think we were already up to 5 at this point.
Says the Aussie, your crowds are like lambs aren't they.As I said, very vindictive.
I think it's the process on these LBWs which is bothering more than anything else. It really doesn't feel very considered. And for all my snark I think all of the decisions have been semi-defendable. First one didn't look all that great of a shout live, second one the noise was a wooden one and I can believe why the umpire would think that was the bat. Root starting to look really good. Can see things going to **** quickly for Australia.
It's possible to be both unlucky and incompetent at the same time.I hate this logic so much.
Why, they were bad decisions the DRS system is there to rectify bad decisions. Both sides messed up.I hate this logic so much.
First ball of the match, Bancroft left. It's all gone their way with the exception of the very first ball of the match.
Yeah, as much as I've criticised Paine (really scapegoated) he's behind the batsman, the bowler is at an angle, the one person who has the greatest chance to get it right is the umpire. Subsequent bad decision making does not justify prior bad decision making, and doesn't make it the victim's fault.I hate this logic so much.
Could have hit pad first so lets have DRS sort it out.... the batsmen will know!Like, I don't know, maybe you should take a second and think about it for a few seconds before giving it out?
The umpires are there to umpire, not the players. Especially if reviews are going to be limited. Why, they were bad decisions the DRS system is there to rectify bad decisions. Both sides messed up.
Yesterday was a long time ago.First ball of the match, Bancroft left.
It's the abundance of wrong decisions more than anything. If any of these were the only one (maybe two) wrong decisions given in a day I think people would be much more lenient on the umpiresAnd for all my snark I think all of the decisions have been semi-defendable. First one didn't look all that great of a shout live, second one the noise was a wooden one and I can believe why the umpire would think that was the bat. That one was worse, but at least it wasn't a massive edge like the Siddle one.

ftfyit's all gone their way as we can't use sandpaper any more.
