He is a genuinely ATG player. Im talking pushing his way into the ATG XI. His batting numbers re basically Sobers in the same number of tests.

He’s the best Australian batsman I’ve seen, easily. And we haven’t been bereft of good ones. He’s going to end up in the argument as to who’s the best since Bradman.

Look how much stiller he’s been today compared with the WC. He’s just made that slight adjustment himself, and everything clicks. He’s got such great awareness of his game and the match situation. He’s there with Tendulkar, Lara, Richards as the best I’ve ever seen. Maybe he’s even better. Or will end up better.
