tbf it takes time to process these things - idk for sure but I think the ICC could just apply the demerit point and any suspensions after the final anyways. I think they've done stuff like that before - apply a punishment a few days after the incident, during which time the player plays on as normal.Good.
Would be unfortunate if he was out for the final, however stupid his reaction was.
reckon there is something in the laws and PCs that allow the match referee to award the game to England in that scenario. Don't remember the specifics and cbf looking up, but i know that If one team refuses to play for no good reason, the other side wins by forfeit.Australia have bowled too quickly. They should have stopped bowling in the 19th over and waited for rain? Could that be a loophole if finch was prepared to miss the final?
i was going to reply to flibbertyjibber with a reference to you but i wasn’t sure if it’d come off. then you actually appear omgDepends if you did number one or number two.
?Wow....if we lose by the D/L method we could use the Indian tactic of excuses. 'We lost because of the rain' 'We lost due to 45 mins of bad bowling by Starc and Smith and about 11 seconds of bad batting' etc etc etc
A 60 ball 92 with the bat would have been useful from him today.Would the big man NCN made any difference to Aus bowling today
That Blinded by the Light film looks ace! That ranvir bingo ad is gay in all sorts of cringeworthy and annoying ways.
Let play for NRR. Or a respectable 6 wicket loss. 45 minutes of good play here.I mean at this rate Australia may as well just refuse to play and it would probably be a less humiliating defeat
Our climate isn't that bad that they wouldn't be able to complete 20 overs across a day and a half lol.Australia have bowled too quickly. They should have stopped bowling in the 19th over and waited for rain? Could that be a loophole if finch was prepared to miss the final?
