Good.

Would be unfortunate if he was out for the final, however stupid his reaction was.
tbf it takes time to process these things - idk for sure but I think the ICC could just apply the demerit point and any suspensions after the final anyways. I think they've done stuff like that before - apply a punishment a few days after the incident, during which time the player plays on as normal.

I mean, we do that in HK, but obviously the ICC is far more professional. Given the final is just a couple of days away, it would take a bit of work, but isn't impossible, to get all the processes done and the suspension applied in time for the final.

Get the tuk tuk on, let's keep the Crims out there for a while.

Australia have bowled too quickly. They should have stopped bowling in the 19th over and waited for rain? Could that be a loophole if finch was prepared to miss the final?
reckon there is something in the laws and PCs that allow the match referee to award the game to England in that scenario. Don't remember the specifics and cbf looking up, but i know that If one team refuses to play for no good reason, the other side wins by forfeit.

I'll forever be indebted to Eoin Morgan for hitting that last ball 6 of Ashok Dinda at Wankhede...What a game that was, Roy and Hales setting up the base. I would not have been able to tolerate Indian fans going wild.

Looked it up. Jason Roy got 1 demerit point in the England v Pakistan game . This was way worse . The point was given a day after the fixture .

Feel robbed that he was incorrectly given out. Wanted to see australia humiliated utterly within like 5 overs or so which was eminently possible.

Fix your audio telecaster. Either turn the crowd down or turn the commentators off. Preferably the latter.

I mean at this rate Australia may as well just refuse to play and it would probably be a less humiliating defeat

Would be fitting for Root and Morgan to win this for England

Preferably by bopping Starc over long-on for six

Yikes, almost an uncomfortable moment on commentary from Clarke there talking about playing the short ball and mentioning Phil Hughes. Managed to sidestep it nicely though.

Our climate isn't that bad that they wouldn't be able to complete 20 overs across a day and a half lol.
