Both Neesham and De Grandhomme could possibly do a job on this pitch - see which has better rhythm today. Also wonder how much of role Santner will play - there's some turn in the wicket but think India would also go after him, and might succeed.

Right, how many more overs for Henry in this spell? One more I'd guess.

This is the upside of selecting him over Southee. Done the new ball job today.
There is only upside selecting Henry over Southee. Southee is cooked at ODI level. For me, anyway.

240 in a WC KO game is like 288 in any other game. The pressure of a runchase does funny things to batsmen. Very little room for error against top quality bowling attacks, all it takes is a moment of hesitation and you're out.

NZ did well to bat first, and KW and Ross did very well to ensure they played out the 50 to give their attack something to bowl to.

Of course New Zealand did manage a genuinely difficult chase in 2015. India are just mentally weak.

Pant has shown great composure the Neesham drop aside, quietly made it to the 20s without doing anything rash. Looks like NZ may have to earn his wicket today.
