Nah. Comes down to NRR between NZ and Pak (if Pak beat Bangladesh) and Bangladesh (if Bangladesh beat both India and Pakistan).

It's not about the loss. Funny thing was the way MSD played. He didn't even tried except for the last over. It was like he surrendered much before and was playing just to reduce the number of runs of the defeat and remain not out till the end. And Jadhav was happy playing to remain not out.
If India is not going to use Jadhav for bowling at all then he should be dropped as well and bring DK. And yeah that's what I think is going to happen in the next match. (Or even bring Jadeja...these 15-20 runs cameo Jadeja can play as well with good bowling option)

Huge difference between chasing 233 and trying to chase down highest ever in WC. England have lost 3 times out of 4 while chasing. So this is not even close.

I'm usually the first to s**t on Wood but he has had a pretty decent WC so far though hasn't he? Excluding this anyway. Just weren't his pitch. The taller bowlers were getting tennis ball bounce while his balls kept skidding along making him easier to face.
I feel like England should ultimately opt for the one spinner option from now on though. We just look a much better team when we have Plunkett there. Not really a batting downgrade either considering Ali's form.

You misunderstood me. What I meant is this scenario:
1. Australia has already qualified.
2. India will qualify if they beat SL.
3. England will qualify if they beat NZ.
4. Now if any one between Bang or Pak win all their remaining matches (I know both of them can't as they play each other) and achieve NRR higher than NZ then they will qualify as the 4th team. This is a possible scenario especially for Bangladesh because their NRR difference with NZ is definitely breachable with 3 matches (NZ's loss to Eng will push back their NRR and Bang's double wins will prop up their NRR).
