Did Shami literally just bowl 5 full tosses in a row and get a wicket with a long hop

Lmao

Third consecutive 4-fer

Wild how absurdly large scores suddenly seem that much more unrealistic and difficult when you have... a good death bowler.

Shami currently showing the alternative. Mind hitting the deck, son?
That's been the story of this tournament for me. Huge scores have not been possible often as the bowling has generally been excellent, aided by some helpful pitches on occasion.

Can't help thinking that Butler was good to get a 70 ball hundred here given an opportunity. That would have completely taken it away from India.

Why Woakes? He's not a slogger like Archer or Plunkett. This stubbornness to not be flexible with batting orders is not smart

Could've potentially gone Plunkett here. More likely to lever one over the rope.

Woakes happy hooking again.

Still hits a clean ball. Far better runner and less likely to face consecutive dots and starve Stokes of strike.

For a bloke with 5 and okay-ish figures, Shami has bowled some proper dross in the last half hour
