Australia are actually leaving the door open here but this is so so sloppy all around by England. Crap fielding, low intensity.

Lol Buttler. What a ********* piece of glove work that was. He’s just a poor keeper isn’t he? And four next ball. Couldn’t happen to a better set of blokes.

This could actually get very hairy for England if they lose here. Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be breathing right down their necks, with games vs. NZ and India left to play. They have to win both those games to make sure of qualifying if they lose today.

Based on this performance so far I can't see them winning another match this tournament.

And that's not going to happen. On the face of it, opting to bowl after the heavy overnight rain was understandable, but you need your openers to actually be quite good and also fit. Which ours aren't. Oh well, yet another WC ****-up. I suppose I've seen too many to be fussed. Maybe it will shut up some of the idiot commentators who've been treating a semi-final place as a given.

Called this before the SL game tbh.

Anyway, long time to go in this one.

Still a bit in the deck here too. They’ve bowled pish so far.

Yeah, and they may yet turn on their usual bat-like-maniacs mode and chase down 310 in 41 overs or so if the sun comes out. Too early to judge.

Spinners have also bowler well for what it's worth. Mixture of luck, nerves and sloppiness costing england.
With the two spinners on, I was really surprised TPC didn’t bat three despite the left-right policy. Starts brilliantly against them for the most part

It's not a good day when Stokes is your best bowler.

Wood was disappointing. He gets decent bounce. Would've done better if he'd pitched it up.

Gotta hope that magically it becomes a road in the second half, but this is ****, Morgan's captaincy has been awful today.

Just checking in as tied up at work, score doesn't look healthy. We been poor?
Yeah. Archer ordinary first up on. Deck doing a lot. dropped catch (very tough tbf) and a missed stumping (I could have completed it tbf). Really missed a trick the way they bowled on this pitch
