I reckon that Mali wanted to enter this tournament simply to tick some boxes (in order to get access to some government/ICC funding), and therefore rustled up a team of women on short notice without much training or development. It's kinda interesting but my guess is that they're just not a cricket team, probably one person with ties to some cash and their mates out on a jolly because no one else was gonna rep Mali.
They're bowling more wides and no balls than legal deliveries.
Genuinely lol'd at this simple joke, haha.Quite an improvement. Pitch must have been a road for them to have got that many.
Which was probably a lower standard than most clubs 6th grade though tbfIt was an international between 2 countries

pretty big indictment of the ICC throwing around international status so easily imoI reckon that Mali wanted to enter this tournament simply to tick some boxes (in order to get access to some government/ICC funding), and therefore rustled up a team of women on short notice without much training or development.
I'm actually interested to know how they're bowling tbh. Whether they can bowl with legal actions, or if they all going to be reported for chucking after this tournament. If they have legal actions, it means they have received some degree of coaching, and are just way too raw to be playing against other nations that have established women's cricket programmes.
whypretty big indictment of the ICC throwing around international status so easily imo
dunno
Fake news!!!If I remember, Bradman smashed 100 in 24 balls? Would love to see that scorecard.
10 sixes and 9 fours in that era? For a minute I thought he did this at SCG with longer boundaries but it was at Blackheath.Fake news!!!
Was actually 22 balls

Interesting that this happened a few days before Gilbert famously rolled him for a duck in a shield game. Perhaps Bradmans two most famous incidents in domestic cricket (with his 452 arguably up there) came within a week of each otherFake news!!!
