Big scores of over 350 are almost always scored at a run a ball in the first 35 odd and then 10+ per over in the final 15. That's too much pressure for a team batting 2nd.
Yes especially given the last 15 will be bowled mostly by Cummins-Starc-NCN they need to really tear into Stoinis and Zampa now.

The team that actually learns to aim this WC could easily get a decisive advantage, such is the state of running this tourney

I would have Mitch Marsh in there, but is Stoinis really as bad as everyone seems to think? Would love some Aussie views here. I generally thought he would be okay at 7 and as a sixth bowler.

The main issue is that for some reason he always seems to taken his sweet time before really going for the bowling, preferring to just dab it around for a few overs. Which, when you typically come in with less than 10 to go, is a problem. He's sent in to do a Maxwell-like job but ends up batting like a #3 out of position. That and he hasn't made a score of any note in ages.

He absolutely killed it in the BBL as an opener a few months back. Maybe he dislikes the role he has in ODIs

It's sunny now and all the demons in the pitch have been exorcised. Warner and Finch were really great early on in how they tackled the slowness of it.

We need a spinner, but I genuinely can't see us winning a knockout game with Zampa in this form. Bloke is bowling ~two rank long hops an over on average and doing nothing off the deck

BD would've still been in this if they hadn't bombed it in the last 13. 6 an over at this stage is fine.

Give Lyon a go at some point. Zampa is reminding me of early Smith.
