Having watched the Pak innings only, there's nothing wrong with the pitch. It's just the pressure of big match + the pressure of big target.

No, why do you want to 'save' your power hitter anyway? Not like they sent him out at over 30 ffs. He came in at 39, that's the perfect time for someone like him to come in and smash a few.
Saving power hitter terrible strategy. Look what England do with Buttler. He literally has come in at over 35 for some of his hundreds after a promotion
