Australia to win this, comfortably. Without the help of dicey umpiring, I might add.
India should be favourites but this is a world cup match. India haven't beaten Australia in a world cup match outside India since 1987.

Still India have a stronger team so it should be a good match.

Posting has generally been in good apirits this WC. Things will change after this game I suspect.

Arun in the middle please.

I've said this before but how good it would be to have Watson instead of Shitsoinis at 6 man

Really looking forward to this one - perhaps a dress rehearsal for the Final? As a completely impartial spectator, I just hope it's a great game, and that the Aussies take such a pounding none of them will be able to sit down for a week.

Don't want India to win 2 in 2 but then Australia winning 3 in a row would suck more.

Imagine a Virat-Vaughan-Amla middle order!!! It would be okay.

Watson retiring was such a farce. They haven't come close to replacing him.
Even if he didn't I don't see him displacing any of the existing players. He's a pure batsman now and one that is very much on the wrong side of 35.

He just stopped bowling this year though. Had he not retired, there is a decent probability he would have continued.

Watching Watson whore around in T20 leagues is very much like watching one of your favourite comedians go back to playing clubs and colleges. He's clearly too good for that level still. I'd say him sharing 10 overs with Maxwell with the batting improvement he brings would be an overall improvement still.

Here's the deal. You know what you get with winning Aussies. 5 already. Our heads have peaked in size. India have just got started. The world doesn't have room for the level of smug that could ensue.
Either way, all we of the colonies are looking to this game to gauge the only prospects of deflating the English juggernaut.

Be interesting to see how the 3rd/4th bowlers go. Kuldeep and Chahal are quality, while NCN (with the ball) and Zampa have never really done much. However, random Australians have a record of standing up under pressure in CWCs.
