Lol that montage of Fakhar getting hit on the head by short bowling.

Should use that to secure a sponsorship from a good helmet manufacturer
Turns out he carries more helmets than bats in his kit hahahaha

Love it. Now here's a batsman who uses his head.

Decent over. This'll be the first run fest of the tourney. Like I've said before, nuke Trent Bridge.

This looks more like the sort of pitch we were expecting. Hard, well paced for batting and flat as a pool table.

Nice.

Bets on how long before he's hit in the head?
I think it says something about the pitch that he could play that hook shot while standing forward of the crease, to a bowler who keeps his body very upright so gets very high bounce.

Doesn't matter what you guys say about his technique, Fakhar Zaman is the most important part of Pakistan's ODI batting. Yes, more important than Babar

There, I said it.

These cross batted swishes are much, much more entertaining than whatever England will do.
Zaman is really just a terrible impersonation of Bairstow though. YJB infinitely better obv but there's a similarity.

This is the mediocrity I'm used to seeing from Woakes
