Ooh didn't pick that to be overturned - thought pitching outside leg (v close) or on first glance maybe height (nowhere near). Nice.

Yeah a "solid" batting lineup with 0 world class odi batsmen. We had a **** top order and a average middle order.
The current batting line up is much much better.
yea no, i remember that cup well. australia was op but everyone else had massive holes. nzs top order had fleming, an in form vincent fresh off runs in the tri series, and taylor at 3 also batting well going into the tournament. styris, oram and mcmillan were excellent. everyone was peaking. even bloody fulton scored runs,

we had a really good chance to make the final then, but sri lanka too good on the day.

As shocked as anyone that Munro's in the side. The thing is even if he does bash some runs today I have no confidence he could repeat it against the better bowling attacks. Whereas Nicholls might.

i really want england or india to be served up one of these decks to bat first on, just to see what they can do with the worst fair conditions

I think Perera as an explosive keeper bat does Dickwellas job but better. But just as a batsman Thrimanne shouldn't be there so should have picked em both
