Wouldn't be surprised if half the side from Waughs era were right wingers

Lee, Hayden, McGrath, Taylor.

I hope and assume the Waugh brothers aren't being bankstown boys but you never know

Steve Waugh has been asked by the Labor Party but refused to run because he's not suited to politics. Guessing that means he supports Labor. I reckon he'd be a union boss in another life.

I could imagine Mark just wouldn't GAF.

Yeah I reckon Mark genuinely gives zero ****s about much other than race horses tbh.

Not sure why you'd think Botham was a better bowler than Shaun Pollock.

And fwiw, I reckon Miller was a better batsman than Botham, marginally.

This list is for test cricket. Pl don't include Rice and Procter. It is not right to include them when you are not even talking about Vinoo Mankad and Shakib al Hasan.

And there is no way Kapil was a better bowler than Botham. No way.

The order is Miller-Botham because Miller was in my opinion too a better bat. Similarly Hadley-Imran means Hadlee had to be given the edge even though it is impossible to split them.

I rate Botham higher than Pollock because Botham ran through batting line-ups more often. No disrespect to Shaun. But the no of five-fers and ten-fers are self explanatory in this regard.
Beefy was a match winner with the ball alone than most specialist bowlers of any kind from any era. Pollock was awesome but not so much.

1. It was not their fault .
Also Procter proved himself by playing 16 matches spanned over a decade against strong test teams.

Procter stats
16 matches 700 runs at 33.33
70 wickets at 17.14

If 1 wkt = 20 runs , Procter equalled Headley / Pollock from just 16 matches.

2. Botham better peak. Kapil better for longer. Overall Kapil.

What about ODI all rounders. How does CW rate them? These are some names that spring to mind (in no particular order):

Klusener
Pollock
Kallis
Watson
Symonds
Yuvraj Singh
Kapil
Jayasuriya
Vettori
Cairns
Ganguly
S Waugh
M Waugh
Tendulkar
Richards
G Chappell

Obviously some of these guys are near the top in their primary discipline, but who were the best cross discipline all rounders?

And I'm forgetting many here. Who of note should be added to this list?

Brian McMillan, Jacob Oram, Shakib al Hasan, Mohammed Hafeez, Abdul Razzaq are some others that come to mind.

Watson a pretty underrated ODI all-rounder. Averaged 40 at a SR of 90 and perfectly capable of bowling his full quota of overs.

If Watson was in this Australian team I reckon they'd be favourites for the WC right now.
