They exist but I don’t know how good they are because I don’t golf.

What do you do on the weekend in Sydney?
If not playing or watching sport, then go to bars/ pubs in different parts of town, including beach side, up I n the mountains etc etc. Also do day trips or weekends away to wine regions.

This is my concern about Singapore. Would I basically have to join a bridge club at Raffles to have any social interaction, or what? It’s not that it isn’t a great city, it is. It’s that the city is all there is which worries me, because it’s a city state.

You can do all of that except the mountains. Obviously the beaches here aren’t worth mentioning either.

Weekend trips involve flying to a different country a couple of hours away tho.

Plenty of things to do, but like I said not many involve nature.

Are there warm up games in Singapore? If not why are we talking about that utopian police state in this forum instead of the dire miserableness of the UK. In something completely unrelated, the miserable UK weather is busy denying half the teams a decent warm up match.

They're both tiny island States tbf, and I don't know that the weather in either is really conducive to human habitation, albeit for varying reasons.

I don't think Hazratullah exactly knows what he's doing here, but I'm not complaining

EDIT: Better than Thirimanne is looking at any rate

Quite like the bit of shape Stoinis is getting here. Makes what are otherwise pies seem half decent.

Wonder if he can do the Tom Moody 1999 role for us

Afghanistan struggling against Joe Root's leg spin.

A sign that Afghanistan are not quite there yet, and that England have probably had enough warm ups.

Gotta admit Smith is responding well to the boos and the guy dressed up as sandpaper

JediBrah would be a happy man if Smith becomes the best batsman in the world out of sheer spite.

Smith's bowling has long been underrated in ODIs, was very handy around 2011 or so.
Maybe his bowling was underrated way back then, but by the time his batting became world class he had practically given up with the ball, always looks about as part time as you can get in the last few years. Personally I gave up on the idea of Smith the bowler a long time ago

If Smith can bowl 3-5 decent overs leaking not a lot of runs, Australia will be a lot better off. Better to rely on 3-4 half bowlers for the quota of 10 than on one, as SL of old showed.
