Daemon, genuine question. What do you do when you live in Singapore? After about half a dozen weekends wouldn’t you have basically done everything and start just going back to Sentosa to play golf and go to the amusement park?

I don't think it's such a bad thing for India to get a sloppy performance out the way in the warm-up. They did proactively take the more challenging option of batting first when conditions offered a bit for the seamers, and I'm sure they'll have learned from it, and on reflection realize they pushed too hard too early.

Meanwhile it's depressing that Mr mediocre Tim Southee looks to have come out of it well at least on the scorecard with his 1-26 off 7, when he actually looked fairly toothless in those conditions while Boult was making it talk at the other end.

I can still envisage Southee getting belted for 80+ off his 10 on a good batting surface. On top of that, and as per usual, he yet again wasted a DRS review on one clearly missing leg. Haven't they learned to not even get his opinion on reviews by now?

I think we're cooked tbh. Don't see us making the knockouts with that batting being exposed to every decent bowling attack in early English summer.

Yeah I wouldn't be writing them off after one game. Kohli and Sharma make that line up as devastating as any going around.

Having said that, I wouldn't call tehm a "great" team yet either. Different if they win the WC mind you. Think Bumrah will have a good tourney.

If it was me, video games, watch movies, read books? Probably get fat. Just to speculate.

You wouldn't write India off on the back of one game, but it isn't like their issues haven't been persistently clear for some time now.

Yeah, this. Basically, every side has issues, it's just gonna be a matter of who can hide them better.

Match delayed due to rain

Toss delayed due to rain

Good job the WC is scheduled for June, when, as we all know, it never rains in England.

I play what passes for cricket around here, work, eat great food, drink overpriced alcohol, watch netflix, talk **** on cw, exercise, smoke rubbish weed, look at memes, jerk off. Normal stuff.

I do wish we were blessed with some nature but considering where I was born I’ll take the nice clean developed city.

Just stop, before you make those of us who only partake in the last two activities envious.
