Just read up on his background. All too familiar story when it comes to Indian quicks - financially poor, couldn’t afford shoes, learnt playing with the tennis ball (which is why you notice so many of these guys have fast, whippy actions).

Gotta admire guys like him, Yadav, Bumrah and a whole bunch of others.

He has been hitting 150+ more than once fairly consistently, where the spells are very short: In IPL and in Mustaq Ali. Slower, just mid 140s, in the Ranji.
