Here Shadab is better bowler than yasir and also capable of scoring a quick 20 runs, i think it more to do with coaching staff not liking his attitude.

Even Though Amir has been terrible of late he is a must pick cause he proved to the world he is a match winner like his performance in champions trophy final against India in 2017

Amir lost his pace and nip when away...no suprise there, real shame, but right now he isn't performing well enough in any format.... where's Hasan Ali?

Yasir Shah has been so bad in this series that they'll have to pick Shadab Khan. Shaheen Afridi and Babar are also very important for them. Hafeez will probably worm his way back in, and in fairness, the replacements in this series haven't exactly made a strong case.

Can't see them making the semifinals but they'll definitely play better than they've done here.

Genuinely not sure what to do with the opening pair in the WC. The way Warner is going he'd generally be an automatic pick, but the way these two are going it seems madness to split them up...
It’s not T20, partnerships matter. Only way the selectors are breaking it up for mine is if they decide Warner will outperform these two going in first. That’s unlikely because, well, all three are kinda **** in England.

The Tiger King
this has been terrible prep for the world cup.

The bowling attack has no amir, shadab, hasan ali, batting doesn't have babar azam, fakhar zaman, sarfaraz etc.

And now all of them will be back for the WC in England. Did they not need any practice?

This practice series seems to be practice without any objectives. Giving yasir freaking shah a go? He is no way near ODI material. What exactly are they trying to test?

Talking about Hasnain

He’s 18 (allegedly), bowls 150 with a better action than Cummins at the same age and looked to be a big unit

Long way from being the finished article but that’s incredibly rare
In your heart, you know he’s 26.

Warner could bat three. He has to be there somewhere imo.

Pillow
Finch
Aggro

Maxwell

is a potentially devastating top five. Stoinis is, thankfully, doing all he can to play his way out of the WC. If only they had the stones to omit him, but no doubt he’s a lock, as is Carey I suppose. If Warner bats three then it obviates the need for Wade I suppose. Darsh pretty unlucky to miss out on the starting XI. He is West Australian though, so I suppose he could be picked ahead of Smith at four.

No it’s not!

Has nothing to do with afridi!

Add random exclamation mark for some bizarre reason!

It’s Aaqib Javed - toured here as a “16 year old”, came back the following season. Age: 19.

Poor ****, aging at that rate. He’s currently 228 years old and counting.

Agree he should be in there somewhere. That 5 looks reasonable on paper but I’m sticking my neck out and saying it’ll score sfa this World Cup.

Feel like they’ve finally got Maxwell’s spot right, though.

Runs in the IPL are fool’s gold

Fact is that Warner has a bog average record in England and that was when he was at his peak

They will pick him but I won’t be surprised if he’s a non factor & certainly wouldn’t break up the openers to accommodate him
