It's good that MCC have got a bit of common sense but it's a bit funny that their responses are given so much weight when it's probably just a few blokes half paying attention who clearly barely even watched the incident in the first place

It was certainly one that has divided public opinion. We now have had a chance to review it in more detail and we think that Buttler was in his ground as Ashwin got into a position when the non-striker could reasonably have expected the ball to have been delivered.

May also be acceptable when referring to batsmen who cheat in their running between the wickets and to cheating bowlers who try to Mankad such cheating batsmen.
