Harsh to leave Bird outPretty solid team all in all, personally I would have Patto ahead of either Boland or Bird. Probably a touch biased but I think would make the attack a little less samey imo

No one is talking about him for national selection.Boland would be terrible. Never mention him in the context of national selection again please.
Not in this instance. I've seen it far too much for my liking though, even recentlyNo one is talking about him for national selection.
Let's not pretend that the number of catches a keeper takes in a game actually has much, if anything, to do with his ability or performanceBaxter Holt, 19 yeas old WK, takes 9 catches and scores 25 in low scoring game for NSW, and they drop him after 1 game....can Qld have him if not wanted?
Only was playing because Nevill wasn't fit.Baxter Holt, 19 yeas old WK, takes 9 catches and scores 25 in low scoring game for NSW, and they drop him after 1 game....can Qld have him if not wanted?
Not even a little bit. That would make Burgey far too happy and we can't have that.Baxter Holt, 19 yeas old WK, takes 9 catches and scores 25 in low scoring game for NSW, and they drop him after 1 game....can Qld have him if not wanted?
Dignified press conference coming right up. Sky News will cover it well I'm sure.i'm sure the values installed into Holt by his parents will mean he responds to this dropping with grace
i've been saying this all season and it's why i don't think bert's broken balls cost him a shield debut when the shield resumed. it would be so incredibly un-NSW for someone to be droppedtbf it is a very NSW thing to stick with the same batting line up in every game of the season no matter what (well, unless there's no SuperNev).
Yeah he was the quintessential domestic bowler - very good at first class cricket but never in contention for a test spot. A bit like Copeland really. So Luke Feldman has retired. Can't say I really rated him, could look very medium paced and innocuous at times, but going on statistics alone he has been more than useful for the last couple years
