Pretty solid team all in all, personally I would have Patto ahead of either Boland or Bird. Probably a touch biased but I think would make the attack a little less samey imo

Realistically there is about 7 seam bowlers who could be plausibly included. But if I was actually picking an attack, would want to include somebody with a bit of extra pace for variety

Let's not pretend that the number of catches a keeper takes in a game actually has much, if anything, to do with his ability or performance

i've been saying this all season and it's why i don't think bert's broken balls cost him a shield debut when the shield resumed. it would be so incredibly un-NSW for someone to be dropped

So Luke Feldman has retired. Can't say I really rated him, could look very medium paced and innocuous at times, but going on statistics alone he has been more than useful for the last couple years

Yeah he was the quintessential domestic bowler - very good at first class cricket but never in contention for a test spot. A bit like Copeland really.
