Honestly I think Ireland didn’t do too badly considering the resources and familiarity with conditions.

They got BTFO in the first session but the rest of the match was actually reasonably even. Probably shouldn't be relying on Murtagh of all players to bail them out with the bat very often though.

Yeah 8-11 made ~200 runs for the match, more than the top 4. Would've been an incredibly sorry picture without that.

Congrats to the Afghans on their first win. Looking forward to many more. It will be good if Rashid can turn into a match-winning bowler too. That's very crucial if they have to take any step forward in tests.
