In theory you are correct, but practically the team cant control it, unless you want the team to start Fafing on purpose (i.e shouldering arms to straight deliveries)

Reeza seems to have lost some form, van der Dussen deserves to continue as this is really his first failure. Mulder showed his class with those first 3 boundaries. Little unlucky, but moved across way to far.

Think we're quickly finding out that Vishwa isn't really an ODI bowler, tended to go for runs in the tests anyways.

Thisara has that strange wicket-taking knack that comes out at random moments, sort of like his batting I guess

I really could not care about winning here... I want to see who performs. The batsmen light approach is only because of the allrounder issue.

Andile pissed me off the most, watching him in the domestic cricket he looked good, took his time played decent cricket shots. Here he gets out to some sort of stupid attempted cut when he just needed to bat better. Mulder played some good shots, but you can see his inexperience walking across his stumps like that unnecessarily. And Miller running past one was just idiotic.

I remember watching this opener Fernando make his ODI debut against Australia at home a couple of years back. Hadn't even played a first class or list a game!" That's what happens when your in desperate need of fresh young faces to try and improve a teams terrible form. Fairly sure Starc cleaned him for a duck from memory to nobody's surprise.

He's been in really good FC form of late, made some hundreds at A team level and did well in the tour game a few days ago also, but yes, talent pool not so healthy these days
