Brilliant day for England today. I have never seen Wood bowl at 91 let alone 95mph, it was surreal watching it. Not sure he's capable of bowling like that consistently though, he was throwing himself off his feet basically. Fair play though, it was a stunning spell.

For us, as ever the bowling is in fine shape but the batting still isn't test standard. We won't improve until we put runs on the board more consistently.

I've been saying similar about Wood for years having seen him bowl devastating spells for Durham but you lot always claimed he was ''****'' and that I was talking nonsense.

I've been saying similar about Wood for years having seen him bowl devastating spells for Durham but you lot always claimed he was ''****'' and that I was talking nonsense.
In fairness it has taken till his 13th test and nearly 4 years to see him bowl like this. The big question is will we see it again before 2023?
